Concept:
The Compañero Rambler is an absolutely waterproof, breathable all-season touring suit, designed to meet the highest demands, made from the highest quality Gore-Tex 3-layer laminate. The quality and the well thought-out construction as well as the use of the best materials ensure an extremely wide range of applications. The Touratech Compañero Rambler was developed in collaboration with the renowned motorcycle clothing manufacturer REV'IT!.
You'll be comfortable and safe on the road in anything from near-freezing temperatures to tropical conditions. Extensive and novel ventilation elements on the one hand and the warming absolutely windproof outer skin on the other are supported by a fully-fledged leisure jacket as inner lining.
The fit is perfect for sporty, active riders and is admirably suited to fast motorway stages or off-road riding during enduro hikes along lonely tracks.

Comfort:
Air cooling
A special point of focus is the ventilation function of REV'IT! patented VCS AQUADEFENSE system (EU patent EP 2574249, US patent US 13/630.520), which is integrated in both jacket and trousers. This system consists of flap openings that can be opened up when required, to expose large ventilation areas. They are held open, flutter-free, by FIDLOCK magnetic closures and allow direct ventilation of the body. These special magnets ensure an absolutely secure hold and can be operated with one hand. When closed, the AQUADEFENSE system is 100% wind and waterproof!
The large VCS (Ventilation Control System) front ventilation consists of a 3 cm wide ventilation gap and a double zip, whereby the opening height of the outer zip determines the amount of cooling air. The second zip ensures that the jacket still remains securely closed. When closed, the outer zip from the high-quality brand TIZIP guarantees absolute wind and waterproofness!
All VCS vents are backed with a three-dimensional BALLISTIC MESH gauze fabric.
Two ventilation zips, with waterproof construction, ensure ventilation of the upper arms, and two carefully positioned vent zips at the back guarantee the required airflow.

Ergonomics and fit
The entire suit is as light as it can be while still complying with the test specifications for protective clothing. This helps you maintain your condition and especially your concentration while riding.
In addition to the perfect cut, stretch zones at the knees, waist and buttocks ensure a comfortable fit and additional freedom of movement, to further increase riding comfort. Optimally positioned compression straps - steplessly and individually adjustable at the chest, back, calf and forearm - are equipped with width adjusters and can be easily operated.
The Touratech Compañero Rambler has a comprehensive set of protectors, consisting of certified back, shoulder, elbow, hip and knee protectors. All these protectors are located in places where they can guarantee protection even with the vents fully open. Elbow and knee protectors can be attached at adjustable heights. The back protector is in a pocket made of open-pored 3D mesh. This supports the removal of water vapour and improves breathability and ventilation.

2 connecting zips each on both jacket and trousers enable a secure connection. The dual design also ensures that it can be used with a large number of REV'IT! products.
The continuously adjustable compression straps facilitate the width adjustment of the trousers at the waist, concealing the fixtures for attaching braces inside. These trousers have a classic, removable lining. Features such as the leather inner leg that extends far above the knee, or the ARMACOR reinforced seat area with additional anti-slip trimmings, serve to provide better control and a secure grip on your motorcycle.

Quality:
The GORE-TEX Pro 3-layer laminate, used extensively in the Compañero Rambler, with double layers in the vulnerable areas and reflective material on the upper body and legs, was developed for riding in extreme conditions. The membrane is bonded between the durable outer layer and a robust inner material and provides an incredible 28,000 millimetre water column for ultimate waterproofness, stopping the material from becoming soaked. This accelerates drying, prevents evaporative cooling and blows away the water droplets as they drip off in the airstream.
The areas at risk in the event of a fall are particularly resistant thanks to the ARMACOR material, an extremely tear- and abrasion-resistant synthetic fibre material from GORE reinforced with KEVLAR threads.
The 3M SCOTCHLITE reflective material sends incident light, tightly focused, back towards the light source by means of extremely high reflectivity, resulting in significantly improved visibility at dusk and in the dark.
Zips from market leaders YKK and TIZIP as well as magnetic closures from FIDLOCK demonstrate the use of the very best materials.

SEESOFT
The high-impact blend of multi-layer nitrile polymers and polynorbene rubber for the flexible insert of the back protector creates a memory foam that, without sacrificing comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement, allows it to withstand multiple impacts in a row.
In the event of a serious impact, the impact energy is distributed by deformation of the individual layers of memory foam, which minimises the impact of force on the back and spine.

SEEFLEX
The SEEFLEX™ concept is a unique new technology involving hyper-modern material and innovative construction that provides the protectors with protection, flexibility and breathability, and masters the most severe impact tests in line with EN1621-1:2012 CE level 2, under all circumstances and at all temperatures.

SEESMART
SEESMART™ protectors adapt to the human anatomy thanks to their flat construction, and expand in the event of an impact, absorbing the energy through the many hexagonal nubs. They offer maximum flexibility and meet all impact tests in line with EN1621-1:2012.

Workmanship
With tested protectors and an EN 17092-3:2020 certified suit, the Compañero Rambler complies with class "AA" personal protective equipment for motorcyclists, whereby all the components and materials used for the suit, from the fabrics to the sewing thread, are constantly tested.
